Scientific Program manager

Responsibilities: 

  • Lead end to end complex projects while being the primary focal point for external pharma clients. 
  • Prepare responses to proposals and RFPs. Manage responses from cross functional teams.
  • Communicate project goals, project charter, plan, and customer needs to R&D and technical teams.
  • Manage project deliverables and timelines.
  • Work closely with business development and partnership teams to support pre and post-sale business activities.
  • Present Nucleai’s portfolio, capabilities, and services to existing and new customers.
  • Oversee the day-to-day work on projects and lead the project task force. 
  • Collaborate across a range of internal and external groups: Product, AI, Research, and the company leadership.

Requirements:

  • PHD. /MS./B.S. in Biology or other relevant fields.
  • Experience in Oncology, Precision Medicine is a plus. 
  • 3+ years' experience in project/program management in the biotech/pharma industry. 
  • Experience in managing projects with pharma. 
  • Experience with project management tools. 
  • Good interpersonal, communication, and decision-making skills. 
  •  A dedicated professional who will go the extra mile to provide support and value to our clients. 
  • Understanding Machine learning technologies.

Responsibilities:

As the head of research at Nucleai you will be leading a group of researchers, data scientists and engineers responsible for providing data driven answers to scientific questions. You will be a focal point responsible for applying (and expanding) Nucleai technology stack to real-world problems and providing best in class service to our research partners and customers. You will have to answer research questions involving multiple data modalities and constraints. This will require a holistic view of the problem, professional competency, and a willingness to think outside the box.

  • End to end responsibility for research initiatives from inception to delivery 
  • Grow a team of professionals, define processes, and develop tools and infrastructure to constantly improve research quality and capacity
  • Lead algorithmic research and development in a team of top-notch senior researchers
  • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to clearly define goals and deliverables 
  • Explore clinical trial data as well as real world evidence, curated from leading medical institutions. Work with multiple data modalities: pathology images, genomics, clinical data, and more
  • Develop machine learning predictive models for real world patient related problems: response to treatments, prognosis, target discovery, etc.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience managing and inspiring Machine Learning/Data Science teams
  • 7+ years of experience in various software/algorithms development positions
  • 3+ years of experience in Machine Learning / Data Science algorithms development
  • Get the job done attitude. Proven track record of success in managing and delivering complex projects.
  • Background in medicine, biology, research - advantage
  • Startup experience - advantage.

  • Building Nucleai's customer-facing web application for visualization and interaction with algorithmic results. Building our internal web application used for annotations and building of deep learning models.
  • Building frameworks and services that process data, parallelize execution of machine learning models, convert and store results, and so forth.
  • Collaborate closely with our Product, Design and data teams to influence our roadmap and implement new user-facing features.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years’ experience in developing Full stack applications.
  • Experience in React & Python or other equivalent technologies.
  • Attention to details in implementing UX and a passion for writing clean code.
  • Familiarity with AWS/Azure/GCP clouds and tools such as Docker, Terraform, CI/CD or an interest to learn them - We use AWS, Docker and GitLab.

Senior Researcher

Come and join us to lead the fight against cancer by discovering the next generation of cancer treatments, novel biomarkers and drug targets, and helping tailoring treatments for the individual patient while using cutting edge technologies of computer vision, deep learning and spatial biology.

Requirements:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the establishment of innovative spatial biology platforms, integrated to a multi-dimensional single-cell-omics data generation pipeline.
  • Design, develop and perform experiments to generate spatial datasets, including multiplex imaging and spatial transcriptomics.
  • Lead research projects with a multidisciplinary team including data scientist and software engineers
  • Optimize and troubleshoot experimental conditions to ensure high quality and high reproducibility of the data.
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues in the functional genomics team, computational biology / software engineering teams and provide support for application development.
  • Maintain extensive knowledge of the literature and best practices in spatial biology, in particular related to the immune system
  • Work with and present to key opinion leaders in the scientific community and Pharma industry 


Qualifications:

  • MD/PhD or PhD degree in Immunology or Cancer Biology.
  • Experience in designing and executing research projects in the field of cancer and immunology.
  • Experience in analyzing and interpreting clinical data.
  • Experience working with Python / MATLAB / R.
  • Knowledge in machine learning and/or deep learning algorithms
  • Interpersonal skills, collaboration, teamwork.


Advantage:

  • Previous work experience in the biotech industry.
  • Experience in spatial biology analysis and interpretation of high-plex images (e.g. MIBI, IMC, CODEX or comparable platforms).
  • Research in cancer biomarkers and/or immunotherapy target discovery.
